This is a short guide on how to change the Identity Service port and keep the existing configuration with other components.
NOTE: This workflow is valid for Identity Service v22.12 and higher.
Prerequisites:
- Identity Service (Further – IS) version 22.12 is installed on your computer.
- Some modules (e.g. OpenLM Server, DSS, etc.) are connected to the IS.
The process:
- Disable all the components’ security, one by one in the IS:
NOTE: During the process of IS port changing, all components will work without any security. So, if it’s critical for you to keep the EasyAdmin user interface and other modules unavailable for unauthorized users, you can shut down all components services until the configuration is done. - Log out from the Identity Service.
- Stop the Identity Service.
- Open CMD and using “cd” command navigate to the SecurityService folder
By default: cd C:\Program Files\OpenLM\OpenLM Identity Service\SecurityService - Execute the command: OpenLM.SecurityService -url “http(s)://new.identity.com:5001” – replace the address with FQDN of your machine and any free port you want to use for the IS access.
- Start the IS service.
- Login to Identity Service with a new URL.
- Re-connect all your components to IS.
