The Annapurna story: OpenLM’s transition from SLM to SAM
The ITAM market is evolving with the current paradigm shift towards microservices and cloud licensing. The legacy version of OpenLM SLM was a monolithic architecture, i.e. all the functionalities were tightly attached to one another. With the growing customer demand for a transition, our product engineers, led by the visionary CEO, took up this challenging Annapurna Expedition.
The transition was not smooth, and the work required for it was neither. As many new microservices have been developed along with the existing functionalities, there have been challenges—but our brave climbers (read squad leaders) have mounted Annapurna defying all odds.
