What’s new in OpenLM SLM v25.3
.NET 8 upgrade for long-term support
The OpenLM Server installer has been updated to support .NET 8, replacing the deprecated .NET 6. This upgrade ensures better performance, security, and compatibility with modern systems.
Siemens denial tracking fixed (FlexLM)
We resolved an issue where Siemens denial messages were not captured, and license quantity information was displayed incorrectly. Denials are now accurately recorded and reflected in usage reports.
Improved token license tracking (nx_design_token – FlexLM)
An inconsistency between the license file type (“token”) and the license output (“floating”) prevented session tracking for nx_design_token on some servers. This mismatch has been addressed to ensure accurate monitoring.
Token usage reporting restored in OpenLM Cloud
Previously, token-based license usage was not displayed in Cloud reports, despite being visible in the license output. Token consumption is now correctly attributed to features and fully reported in both CCL and LAR.
RMS license usage
OpenLM now properly reports license usage and quantity data from the RMS License Manager. The system previously captured only feature data, which limited reporting capabilities.
