Version 1.6.1.7 is a maintenance release to version 1.6. It contains some important bug fixes to problems found in previous versions. We recommend all customers to upgrade their system to this version simply by installing it on-top of their existing version.
What is included in version 1.6.1.7?
OpenLM Server:
- Improved support for systems with many OpenLM Agents installed.
- Fix an issue with Oracle database.
- Fix an issue when using OpenLM Broker and sending license output to OpenLM Server (data-inquiry option).
OpenLM Broker:
- Resolved an issue with very short timeouts for sending messages to OpenLM Server.
Note:
Please follow these steps when upgrading (Some of our customers experienced “error 1001” which is related to a problem with Windows):
- Backup your DB file (Typically located in: C:Program FilesOpenLMOpenLM Serverdb)
- Stop the OpenLM Server service
- Make sure to close ALL windows, especially the services window
- Install the new version on-top of the existing version
