## Before you begin

- OpenLM Platform
- OpenLM Broker v25.x or higher installed on the same machine as DSLS, and approve it in [Broker Hub](https://openlm.com/documentation/cloud/data-collection/broker-hub).

## Configure OpenLM Broker

*Broker interface with DSLS*

1. Open Broker web UI: http://localhost:5090/.

1. Go to License Managers tab.

1. Use Detect to find DSLS automatically. If not detected, click Add License Manager, select DSLS, enter port, and click ADD.

*Adding DSLS in Broker*

1. Match Date format and Language to the license file.

1. Go to Commands tab → enter path to DSLicSrv.exe. Run Execute to test.noteIf DSLS uses a password, add it in command syntax. Ensure a space before each semicolon.

1. Go to Vendors tab → Add Vendor → Dassault Systemes.

1. For multi-server setups, install Broker on each DSLS machine.

1. Ensure status, data_inquiry, and denial commands use locale en_US.

### Configure DSLS log files

1. Go to Log files tab → click Add Log File.

1. Select type Other.

1. Name the file (for example, DSLS log file).

1. Enter or browse to the file path (for example, C:\my_dsls_log.log).

1. Select vendor Dassault Systemes.

1. If logs rotate, check Watch files by pattern.

## Approve DSLS in OpenLM Platform

1. Sign in to OpenLM Platform.
2. From the menu, go to **License Servers** → **Pending Server**.
3. Select the DSLS license manager, then select **Approve and Merge**.

## Verify the integration

1. In OpenLM Platform, go to **License Servers Live** → **Server Statistics**.
2. Confirm DSLS appears with a green status indicator.

:::note
It can take up to 3 minutes for the status to update for a new connection.
