Nvidia License Manager

This guide describes how to configure OpenLM with the NVIDIA License Manager to monitor license usage and collect statistics.

Before you begin

• OpenLM Platform
• OpenLM Broker v25.x or higher installed on the same machine as the NVIDIA License Manager, and approve it in Broker Hub.

Configure OpenLM Broker

1. Open Broker UI at http://localhost:5090/.

2. Go to License Managers → Add License Manager.

3. Go to License Servers → click Add.

4. Configure:

   1. Type: Nvidia
   2. Description: server name
   3. Time Zone: license server time zone
   4. Hostname and Port: server details
   5. Is Triad Configuration: check if applicable
   6. UserPassword: Nvidia admin portal username and password
   7. Is secure connection (https): check if applicable
   8. Use Broker: unchecked
   9. Read license file: unchecked

5. Click Apply.

Approve Nvidia License Manager in OpenLM Platform

1. Sign in to OpenLM Platform.
2. From the menu, go to License Servers → Pending Server.
3. Select the Nvidia License Manager license manager, then select Approve and Merge.

Verify the integration

1. In OpenLM Platform, go to License Servers Live → Server Statistics.
2. Confirm Nvidia License Manager appears with a green status indicator.

It can take up to 3 minutes for the status to update for a new connection.
