Follow these steps to configure OpenLM to monitor license usage and retrieve statistics from the Sentinel SuperPro license manager.

## Before you begin

- OpenLM Platform

- OpenLM Broker v25.x or higher installed on the same machine as Sentinel SuperPro, and approve it in [Broker Hub](https://openlm.com/documentation/cloud/data-collection/broker-hub).

## Monitoring capabilities

The current monitoring capabilities available for Sentinel SuperPro through OpenLM Broker are:

Using the Broker component also provides:

- Buffered communication to OpenLM Server

- Ability to remotely start/stop the license manager service

## Configure OpenLM Broker

Install and configure OpenLM Broker on the same machine as Sentinel SuperPro before proceeding.

## Automatic Broker configuration

1. Open Broker UI at http://localhost:5090/.

1. Go to License Managers → Detect

1. Sentinel SuperPro appears

1. Validate and save

*Configuring through the Broker UI*

1. Open Broker UI at http://localhost:5090/.

1. Go to License Managers → Add License Manager.

1. Enter the port number and select Sentinel SuperPro from the LM Type dropdown. Click Add.

1. In the Commands tab, ensure the Data Inquiry command path is correct.

1. Go to the Vendors tab → Add Vendor, enter Sentinel SuperPro, and click Continue.

1. Click Save.

## Approve Sentinel SuperPro License Manager in OpenLM Platform

1. Sign in to OpenLM Platform.
2. From the menu, go to **License Servers** → **Pending Server**.
3. Select the Sentinel SuperPro License Manager license manager, then select **Approve and Merge**.

## Verify the integration

1. In OpenLM Platform, go to **License Servers Live** → **Server Statistics**.
2. Confirm Sentinel SuperPro License Manager appears with a green status indicator.
