Sparx

Before you begin

• OpenLM Platform

• OpenLM Broker v25.x or higher installed on the same machine as Sparx, and approve it in Broker Hub.

Configure OpenLM Broker

1. Open the Broker UI at http://localhost:5090/.

2. Navigate to License Managers → Add License Manager.

3. Select Sparx as the LM type, enter port (default 7770), and click Add.

   Configure command and execution options as needed (for example, start/stop toggles, periodic/on-demand inquiry).

   Add log file configuration (same as earlier).

   • Type: SSKS Log
   • Path: ssksLog.log
   • Encoding: UTF-16

   Save the configuration.

Approve Sparx in OpenLM Platform

1. Sign in to OpenLM Platform.
2. From the menu, go to License Servers → Pending Server.
3. Select the Sparx license manager, then select Approve and Merge.

Verify the integration

1. In OpenLM Platform, go to License Servers Live → Server Statistics.
2. Confirm Sparx appears with a green status indicator.

It can take up to 3 minutes for the status to update for a new connection.
