Register and activate

This page walks you through account registration, product activation, and Reporting service setup.

Register for OpenLM

Go to the registration page

1. Visit the OpenLM website.
2. Under the OpenLM Platform section, click Register now.

Choose a registration method

You can register in one of two ways:

Identity registration screen

• Social login (Google, Microsoft, or GitHub):

  1. Select your provider.
  2. Authenticate using the provider's login page.
  3. After authentication, you are redirected to the OpenLM homepage and onboarding guide.

• Direct registration:

  1. Enter your username and create a password.
  2. Click Register.
  3. After registration, click Login to access the system.
  4. You are redirected to the OpenLM homepage and onboarding guide.

Activate products

• Open the products page

  Click Activate products in the onboarding guide to open the products page.

• Activate your products

  Select and activate products one by one. The products page includes the following sections:

  • Active products: Lists your activated licenses.
  • Available products: Shows products ready for activation.
  • System products: Displays pre-configured items that cannot be activated or deactivated.

Set up the Reporting service (Amazon Quick Suite)

• Wait for the Quick Suite invitation email

  Once your OpenLM tenant is created, the system triggers an email invitation to join Amazon Quick Suite. This typically takes 5-10 minutes after registration. Check the inbox for the email address you used to register.

• Open the invitation email

  The email from Amazon Quick Suite contains a link to activate your reporting access. You cannot access the Reporting service until you complete this step.

• Register for Quick Suite

  Click the link in the invitation email. On the Quick Suite sign-up page, if prompted for an account name, enter: openlm (all lowercase).

• Sign in to Quick Suite

  Sign in with the same email address where you received the invitation. This should match your OpenLM registration email.

• Open the Reporting service

  After signing in, click the OpenLM Reporting link in the top navigation bar.
