# LM-X

Install OpenLM Broker on the LM-X server to query locally and forward the data to OpenLM Server.

The OpenLM Broker is optional but recommended. Installed on the LM-X host, it queries usage locally and forwards it to OpenLM Server. Broker ensures buffered communication in case of network outages or security restrictions.

In addition, Broker can query LM-X for license request denials, providing valuable insight into license efficiency.

- OpenLM Platform。
- LMX と同じマシンにインストールされ、[Broker Hub](https://openlm.com/documentation/ja/cloud/data-collection/broker-hub) で承認された OpenLM Broker v25.x 以降。

## OpenLM Broker の設定

1. Open the Broker Web UI at http://localhost:5090/#/license-managers.

1. Under License Managers, select LM Type LMX and input the port. **Add** をクリックします。

*ベンダーを追加: Vendors タブで Add Vendor を選択し、名前を入力して Continue をクリック*

    ***Save** をクリックします。*

## OpenLM Platform で LM-X を承認

1. OpenLM Platform にサインインします。
2. メニューから **License Servers** → **Pending Server** を開きます。
3. LM-X ライセンスマネージャーを選択し、**Approve and Merge** をクリックします。

## 連携の検証

1. OpenLM Platform で **License Servers Live** → **Server Statistics** を開きます。
2. LM-X が緑のステータスで表示されることを確認します。
