IBM Rational
IBM Rational token-based licensing uses a pool of tokens instead of fixed license counts. Each feature consumes a predefined number of tokens as specified in the license file. When the application closes, tokens return to the pool for other users.
Notes on TLSTOK reporting
IBM Rational licenses are managed by the FlexLM license manager. OpenLM can monitor IBM Rational token usage and report it in EasyAdmin.
In earlier versions, OpenLM displayed only the IBM Rational token feature (TLSTOK) without details for individual features. Starting in OpenLM 3.1, TLSTOK is treated as a package, and all token-based features within it are reported as part of that package.
Requirements
- OpenLM configured to monitor the IBM Rational FlexLM license manager.
- OpenLM Broker installed on the license server.
- OpenLM configured to read the IBM Rational license file.
