Follow these steps to configure OpenLM to monitor license usage and retrieve statistics from the tNavigator License Manager.

## Requirements

Before starting, make sure you have:

1. OpenLM SLM v2x installed on a machine in your organization  
2. OpenLM Broker v23.8 or higher installed on the same machine as the tNavigator License Manager

## OpenLM Broker configuration

OpenLM Broker must already be [installed](https://www.openlm.com/application-notes-v3-0/installing-openlm-v3-0/broker-comprehensive-installation-guide-an4004b/) and [configured](https://www.openlm.com/Knowledgebase%20and%20articles/openlm-broker-configuration/) to report to OpenLM before proceeding.

1. On the tNavigator license manager machine, open the Broker web UI at `http://localhost:5090/`.  
2. Go to **License Managers** → **Add License Manager**.  

3. Select **tNavigator** from the drop-down list and enter the port number. Click **Add**.  
4. In the **Commands** tab, browse to or type the installation path of the tNavigator License Manager.  
5. Click **Execute** to verify there are no errors.  
6. Go to **Vendors** → **Add Vendor**. Enter `tNavigator` and click **Continue**.  
7. Go to **Log Files** → **Add Log File**. Browse to the tNavigator log file location, turn **Watch File by Pattern** on, and click **Continue**.  
8. Click **Save**.

## OpenLM Server configuration

### Automatic configuration through EasyAdmin

1. Open EasyAdmin at **Windows Start → OpenLM → OpenLM EasyAdmin User Interface → Start → Widgets → License Manager Servers**.  
2. Click the **Servers pending approval** icon.  
3. Select the tNavigator entry (displayed as **OpenLM Generic**).  
4. Optionally, enter a descriptive name (for example, `tNavigator`) and ensure **Enabled** is on.  
5. Click **Approve**.

The tNavigator License Manager will be added automatically and will begin reporting shortly.

## Verify your configuration

1. Open EasyAdmin.  
2. Go to **Start → Widgets → License Servers**.  
3. Confirm the tNavigator License Manager appears in the list with a green status circle.
