Overview
This document outlines the steps required to integrate Infograph License Manager with OpenLM. By completing the configuration, you can monitor license usage, gather statistics, and ensure optimized license management.
Requirements
To set up Infograph integration with OpenLM, the following components are necessary:
1. OpenLM SLM:
• Version 2.x installed on a local machine within your organization.
• Alternatively, an SLMC account.
2. OpenLM Broker:
• Version 24.11 or higher installed on the same machine as the Infograph License Manager.

Configuration Steps
OpenLM Broker Configuration
Step 1: Access the OpenLM Broker Interface
• Open a web browser and access the Broker interface using the URL:
http://localhost:5090 (adjust the port number if it’s not the default, e.g., 5091 or 5092).
Step 2: Add a License Manager
1. Navigate to the License Managers tab.
2. Click Add License Manager.
3. In the pop-up window:
• Select Infograph from the drop-down list.
• Enter the Infograph port number (e.g., 888).
• Click Add.
Step 3: Configure License File Settings
• Go to the Settings tab. The Broker can auto-detect the license file.
• Verify the detected file path, or select Set license file path manually to navigate to the lgraph.xml file.
Step 4: Add a Vendor
1. Switch to the Vendors tab.
2. Click Add Vendor.
3. In the pop-up window:
• Enter the vendor name as Infograph.
• Click Continue.
Step 5: Add Log Files
1. Navigate to the Log Files tab.
2. Click Add Log File.
3. Ensure that Watch file by pattern is turned off.
4. You can add multiple log files if necessary.
5. Click Continue and then Save.
OpenLM Server Configuration
Once the OpenLM Broker is set up, proceed to configure OpenLM via the EasyAdmin User Interface:
1. Open EasyAdmin in your browser.
2. Navigate to Start → Widgets → License Manager Servers.
3. In the License Servers window, click the There are Servers Pending Approval icon.
Step 1: Approve the License Manager
1. Double-click on the pending license manager (displayed as OpenLM Generic).
2. In the Display Name field, enter a recognizable name for the license manager.
3. Use the Custom Fields to add relevant details, such as country, usage scope, or description.
4. Verify the configuration details and click Approve.
The Infograph License Manager will now be added to the OpenLM SLM. After a brief period (up to 3 minutes), the system will parse the data and display its status with a green circle, indicating an active connection.
Verifying the Infograph Configuration
To confirm that the Infograph License Manager is correctly configured:
1. Open EasyAdmin in your browser.
2. Navigate to EasyAdmin Start → Widgets → License Servers.
3. Verify that the configured license manager appears in the server list.
• A green circle node indicates an active connection to the license server.
Note: For new connections, it may take up to 3 minutes for the status indicator to change.
