Hardlock
Follow these steps to configure OpenLM to monitor license usage and retrieve statistics from the Hardlock license manager.
Requirements
- OpenLM Platform
- OpenLM Broker v25.x or higher installed on the same machine as Hardlock, and approve it in Broker Hub.
Monitoring capabilities
The current monitoring capabilities for Hardlock through OpenLM Broker are:

OpenLM Broker configuration

note
OpenLM Broker must be installed and reporting to OpenLM Server before starting these steps.
Configuring via Broker UI

Open Broker UI at http://localhost:5090/.

Go to License Managers -> Add License Manager.

Select HardLock, enter the port number, and click Add.

In Vendors, click Add Vendor, enter Hardlock, and click Continue.

In Log Files, click Add Log File, browse to the .log file, and click Open.

Select the vendor Hardlock and click Continue.

Click Save.
Configure OpenLM Platform

Log in to OpenLM Platform.

From Menu, go to License Servers.

On left menu, select Pending Server

On the list, select the Hardlock license manager and click on Approve and Merge

In OpenLM Web Interface -> Menu -> License Servers Live -> Server Statistics.

Ensure Hardlock appears in the list with a green status indicator.
Note: It can take up to 3 minutes for the status to update for new connections.
