Nvidia License Manager

This guide describes how to configure OpenLM with the Altair License Server (ALS) to monitor license usage and collect statistics.

Requirements

1. OpenLM Platform
2. OpenLM Broker v25.x or higher installed on the same machine as AEScripts, and approve it in Broker Hub.

Configuring via Broker UI

1. Open Broker UI at http://localhost:5090/.

2. Go to License Managers -> Add License Manager.

3. Go to License Servers -> click Add.

4. Configure:

   1. Type: Nvidia
   2. Description: server name
   3. Time Zone: license server time zone
   4. Hostname and Port: server details
   5. Is Triad Configuration: check if applicable
   6. UserPassword: Nvidia admin portal username and password
   7. Is secure connection (https): check if applicable
   8. Use Broker: unchecked
   9. Read license file: unchecked

5. Click Apply.

Configure OpenLM Platform

1. Log in to OpenLM Platform.

2. From Menu, go to License Servers.

   

3. On left menu, select Pending Server

4. On the list, select the Nvidia license manager and click on Approve and Merge

   

5. In OpenLM Web Interface -> Menu -> License Servers Live -> Server Statistics.

6. Ensure Nvidia appears in the list with a green status indicator.

Note: It can take up to 3 minutes for the status to update for new connections.
